Just came back from a really rewarding backpacking trip in Cambodia and Vietnam and I am super inspired by all the beautiful things I have seen along the way. So here is my first piece of the year..

Gouache gouache gouache...

I always enjoy finding new ways to capture an image and this time its using gouache. The joy I felt by mixing the paint to get the color I'm looking for and to carve the painting slowly strokes after strokes covering mistakes made by my clumsy hands is such a fun and enjoyable experience. And to top it up the company of like-minded friends that strive toward better art. Its a great night!
